looks closer to a 6"

8" lift on an Excursion is equivalent to 6" on an SD.

Yea your right Mecdac but the truck I was referring to was a 2005 Excursion with 6" lift that had 37" tires on it. No rub unless full lock but they did fit. They were not 38s though. Regardless I know that is not the original discussion of the OP. So I apologize for getting of topic!
