Side door not opening

Side door not opening
I have a 97 E350 clubwagon
The side door is split into two doors, right side is main door which opens find left door has the hand on the side and the cable maybe detached as this door is not opening
DOes any one know of an easy way to open this door so i can take the panel off and reconnect the cable or fix whatever problem is in there ?

There is no easy way. Panel has to come off so you can grab the cable and unlatch the door. Good news is the panels are pretty simple to take off. Just make sure you lift upwards to not break the tabs. (Learned the hard way)
