Looking to get a set of cheap 17" wheels just for temporary reasons.
Looking at this ad the seller said he tried to put on a 4wd but didn't fit. Is this because it will need the spacers in the front?
I wanted to take my 17" tires off my F350 mount them on our Excursion and put 35" tires on the F350.
This would be temporary until I source better looking wheels. My tires on my F350 KO2s are brand new and it's DRW so I will have two spares for the Excursion.
Well, yeah, they will bolt up and you could drive with them. Just expect to have some tire rub on the front leaf springs and the tires will sit about 2" in towards the truck's centerline more than the correct wheels would have them.
Unrelated to any particular item listed here but why do some of these links to CL show up as clickable links and others have to copy and pasted to get to the ad?
Is everyone else seeing the same mix of direct links and just plain text that needs to be C&P'ed, or is it just something my work computer is doing to the links?

Tom
I see it the same way that you do. Some clickable, others aren't. IIRC, there is an option in your profile to automatically parse URLs. If that is checked, it shows the post as clickable.
Yes, and a good set of spaces/adapters will cost more than the rims and tires, in most cases.
Yes, 2" HUBCENTRIC spacers will fix the tires/wheels to the correct location under the EX. And like Mark said, some of the spacers options will cost more than the wheels (and tires in some cases), There are some cheaper ones other than the time tested steel and aluminum offerings from Fred but do some research if shopping for the more affordable ones, a lot is riding on them.

When pasting a weblink, hit ENTER to move to the next line, the weblink becomes clic able. If you type space and keep typing it isn't clic-able.
Same thing in word documents, email, facebook posts, etc.
