need advice on flexplate retorque
new engines in my truck, tranny was in and the flexplate came loose. (e4od) can I just unbolt the tranny and jack it up and slide it back on the crossmember to gain access to the flexplate bolts? or do I need to remove the tranny completely again? reason I ask is because I'm working outside in the mud and gravel and its 30 degrees all week so if I can save some time by not removing the t case and crossmember etc. Thanks.

I'm not sure you'd have enough room to slide it back with a transfer case still in there. I've done it on a 2wd with a manual trans (shifter removed). Should take too much space although I'd read up on loctite for those bolts this time around.
