Erratic Climate Control
I have a 2012 Ford Explorer and the climate controls are possessed. It turns itself on to “auto”. I can touch the auto button to turn it off and sometimes it will go off, other times it will go off and come right back on, with the fan blowing at full speed. Even if I push the power button to turn off the a/c & heater, it will turn itself right back on in auto mode. I’ve also noticed the hazards will not come on and the tune up button for the radio doesnt work. Any ideas what could be the problem? It’s driving me nuts.

With multiple issues like that it sure sounds like a wiring loom is rubbing against something and shorting out....
I'd find a good auto electrical guy to isolate it if you don't have a meter and the DIY skills to measure resistance...
