Might work a few miles but most here have figured out using OEM sensors on this engine is very important for long running. It's not a gasser and is a lot more violent in shaking stuff apart.
Just read through the battery link. It was fine before sitting I'll look around but do not think it's corrosion. It will spin over for a while and nothing gets hot
Ok new ford sensor the tach moves a little like 25 rpm. Sounds like it's turning over around 1-200 rpm so tomorrow I'm going to check the grounds I've had them rattle off before.
Figured it out bad icp and dead battery on the starting side. Threw the optima I keep around for sick things in and unplugged the icp and she started right up. Idle is smoother and for some reason the brakes work better for some reason. Thanks ford r the help. That bat was only 6 months old
Not sure what you mean by "starting side"; the truck needs both batteries to start. If one died and the one you replaced it with doesn't match the other one, you should get two new ones.

Weaker battery will kill the newer one. Always replace as a set.
