wheel studs

does anybody know if 12mm wheel studs can be pressed out and 14mm put in. Are the basic stud mounting hole diameter the same?

no, the hole for the stud will be larger on the 14mm stud ........ you could remove the 12 mm, drill the hole out, then install the 14 mm studs.

So you tried this already? Would be and is is only .75mm. All available stud dimensions are close the only visible difference is M12 studs show a greater taper to threads and M14 studs dont taper to threads. I am going to try to go up a stud size and wanted to see if anyone has tried this before.

there are several different size "holes" for various studs over the years. In general, the 12 mm studs have 13 mm holes and the 14 mm studs have 16 mm hole.... not saying that you cant find a 12 and 14 that use the same hole, but I doubt your 12 mm studs have 16 mm knurl.......... look here and see what I mean.
