Looking for help finding a Unicorn.
Looking over all the spec guides for a 2016/2017. I see a 145"WB (extended cab/6.5' bed) 4x4 ECO can only be had with a 3.55 with the max tow package.
When building it, it says 3.73s can be had if ordered with Heavy Payload Option. Will that kick it to the 5.0 or can you get the 3.5 ECO with 3.73s?

Yeah but if you order the heavy payload package it will only let you get the bottom line accessories which is BS!!

Got ya. Doing some research for a friend. Looks like he will be getting 3.55s.

This is probably a stupid question, but what is an unicorn? I keep hearing that term and might know the answer without knowing I know it. Thanks

Not sure if you've seen the order guide, but it's attached.

Rare and elusive. People have heard of one, but have never seen one.

Another way of saying it is when you hear hooves pounding, think horses, not unicorns (or zebras).

Found what he needed. He was wanting an XLT 145" WB 4x4 with 3.73's. When option 627 (Heavy Duty Payload package) is selected, it allots 3.73s with the 3.5L ECO. Thanks guys.
