What are your thoughts on how the 2.7L compares with the 5.0L?
Hard to completely say this early. No doubt I think the 2.7 is going to have plenty of grunt for my driving style and potential needs. Just a 1/4 tank into ownership the 2.7 is showing 23mpg on the lie-o-meter. The sound isn't as pleasing as the 5.0 was but it's not bad.
I spent the morning going though the dash apps and "my view" changing and rearranging things. I'm not to bad of a tecky and worked my way through it. I still need to figure out the voice navigation etc. I can't imagine how somebody that struggles with technology could figure it all out. I even managed to get the door openers talking to my doors. That was a hoot. I drove it over to get some breakfast this morning and it seemed to clear a heavy frost off the windshield quicker than the 5.0 did. I suppose I could have used the remote start but I'll reserve that for REALLY cold days. I've never been one to do much warm up unless it's pretty nippy out.
No reason to reserve the remote start for cold days...even when it's cool out, it's nice to get into a rig that's got a warm seat. First world problems and all....
