That's the one thing I disagree with. If you order a Raptor or any high end vehicle it should at least not have additional markup. If the dealer orders it then by all means get what the market will bear!
Agreed if you order a Raptor. You'll probably be paying $3000 thru $7000 above MSRP pricing.

I did have to pay a small premium but did order one. Since they had given me more than what the book value of my trade in was, I still came out ahead.

Try finding a dealer that will agree to MSRP even on a new order for a Raptor. They are few and far between unfortunately...
Finding one willing is hard, and then finding one with allocation is harder! We had our Raptors all sold before they hit the lot. When we get them in stock we market them above MSRP, however, for our local customers we don't typically charge the surplus. Both the Shelby and the Raptor I ordered this year went for MSRP. But if you're going to come from across the country and we'll never see you again, yep, gonna make as much as we can.
