Quick question, that I think I know the answer to. I bought a bed rug for my 2015 F350. I was putting it in tonight, or planning on it, when I kneeled on a bed bolt and noticed it was loose. I could spin the washer.
I checked all of them and found one more loose too. I tried to tighten them but couldn't really get them to move much. I assume they should be very tight to avoid noise and movement.
Could they just be a bit rusty? Soak the bolt heads with PB Blaster or something and try again? I'm assuming there's a welded nut under the bed, and not a free nut that has to be held when tightening. I felt like there was some play, like you'd feel in a loose nut, but not sure.

What should I do?
Thanks!
Tighten them down more. There is a caged nut underneath on the frame, so nothing you need to get a wrench on. They put a fair bit of threadlock on them from the factory. Try spinning them out, clean the threads, reapply lock tight and then spin them back in. I use an electric 1/2" impact gun and don't hammer on them too much. It may be that the dealer had to pull the bed for a repair, or that they loosened the bolts to better align the bed to the cab upon predelivery inspection.
Last time I checked it was just a piece of rod with a head that went into a caged type nut with a big burr on it, not really a bolt if gang makes sense. I would tell the dealer and have them deal with it..
I think my warranty will end, today. The dealer might help me out since I just bought it two weeks ago, but not sure. It's just such a hassle to get to them and wait, and wait, and wait.
Could just be that I wasn't getting enough leverage with a 3/8" ratchet and the T50 bit.

T50,, 1/2 inch drive with a pipe. or a 600 foot pound impact. thread-locker is strong.

Yes. 1/2"x 30" beaker bar minimum. If you moved it with a 3/8" rachet, one of two things is going on: (1) you need to lay off the wheaties and steroids, (2) something is seriously wrong with there installation.
I just talked to the body shop manager. He thought it strange too, but said could be someone just didn't go tight enough after the bed liner was sprayed (the bolts were likely removed so they wouldn't get coated).
Anyway, he said no way to do it right without a large impact. The nuts aren't really nuts. The bolts are forced into the "nut" making it's own threads. Requires a lot of force to get them in and tight. I'm bringing it in Friday morning so he can tighten them all up for me.
All done. The dealer tightened them all and found two others that moved a wee bit, and the two I had issues with turned about a 1/4 turn each. They broke a T50 bit in the process. But all done and tight. Rattle gone. And while I was there, I had them turn on the diesel exhaust filter status screen on my display. Win win!
