How does the order process work?

once you get VIN use this: FordEtis home page
make sure you get the DORA (order acknowledgement from FORD) not just a copy of the purchase order from your salesman

Yes I have seen your posts and I can tell how excited you are! It's gonna be a long couple months for both of us lol. This will be my third powerstroke. I'm currently off work due to an injury so unfortunately I have nothing to do but think about this new truck. I can't wait to get back to work so I have something to take my mind off it!

ETIS vs. COTUS
I ordered my truck on January 16th.
The dealer gave me my VIN today, January 26th.
It shows up in the ETIS website, and not the COTUS website.
Update: ETA is March 12th as of Jan. 31st, as per COTUS website.

The dealer gave me my VIN today, January 26th.
It shows up in the ETIS website, and not the COTUS website.
My build date is 30.11.0002....
I am sure it explains all this in one of these threads.
I am not sure what the date numbers mean just yet.

I never got www.cotus.ford.com to work
But I did get wwwqa.cotus.ford.com to work with a vin number but never with order number and dealer number.

Mining Guy I am glad it worked for you at times during the day it hasn't been working but if you keep trying at different times it will usually work. I hope my f250 works better for me than that site, or I will be sitting on the side of the road some.
