I'm guessing that includes the item price? yes/no?

Here's shipping via USPS at the lowest rate I got from them. Seems nuts but.. You don't even WANT TO KNOW what Fedex cost is for the same 1 pound box. Rates were calc. to NürnbergGreuth/90455

Do you live near a US military base (Ansbach/Katterbach) and/or know any Americans? They pay regular US shipping rates to the nearest US city, and then the military postal system takes over.
Ply your American friends with a case of that Lick-the-schnauzer Hefe Weissen, and see if they will have someone mail your item to them this way.
Which type of shipping is it for USPS or UPS & Fed Ex type shipping??

I didn't do ups after seeing the Fedex bill.
Was OVER $100 for under 1 pound box. Fricking nuts.
No options for the OP to buy over there? Seems nuts to me but..
Do what tedster9 says. Best bet going forward.
Me too, it was equivalent to eight bucks a case! Fresh... on tap... 75c a draw during happy hour. My "host family" always joked that I should stay and become a beer truck driver. I can get Tucher and Weihenstephan here these days at Hy-Vee, but it ain't the same... or in price
