trim questions
just bought my 3rd bump, this one is from new mexico, i have some trim questions......
1. my 71 f250 has bottom trim but no bump trim, see attached, is this correct?
2. my 68 f100 ranger has no trim in back of cab under the window however my basic 68 f100 has the chrome trim on back of cab, is this correct?
thanks for checking

Wj..82, The link had a lot of answers to my questions on differences on this era of trucks. I have a 67 Camper Special that has been changed over the years and I now know the differences, Thanks - Bob

The trim on my 69 here is original. I used to think that the tailgate trim looked 'incomplete' with only the strip along the bottom. Have since learned though that it is there because of the two-tone paint job. A full tailgate trim package would have come with a Ranger package...?
Same goes for the chrome strip around the back of the cab...because of the two-tone paint.

Yeah, your vin shows it was two-tone. Maybe original owner just didn't like it and ordered w/out the trim? ..or the holes were filled in at some point?

Probably not then...my understanding is that the trim is there to cover where the two colors would meet.
