E4od shifting
I just got a real nice 95 power stroke(381,000klms) but am having some weird issues I cannot find an answer for. With overdrive light off revs up before shifting 1-2 close to 3000 after that shift mostly normal. If i lock out the overdrive(light on) it will shift normal 1-2.With the light off I can manually shift 1-2 no problem. My cruise would also cut out on a hard bump so I have replaced the VSS in the rear diff(don't know if it has fixed that as no insurance yet) and have a new TPS coming. I have cleaned the connections and used dialetic grease. ANy other ideas??? Thanks in advance Terry

I would wander a bit around 60mph and the abs light would come on so I replaced the VSS and the abs light is gone and speedo seems good, have not driven it other than down my short road as no insurance yet. Yes the Throttle position sensor. ONe other thing I took our the back pressure tube and it was plugged solid and I mean solid so I got a used one and have put that in. I have a brand new one coming but this one is real clear, the sensor was clean so I put grease on it as well. Thanks for the reply Terry

Bang on the dash above the speedometer / PSOM. I had problems after a very expensive rebuild and it was the stupid speedo... Banging with my fist fixed the hard shifts and took care of the rear abs light... the most expensive fix ever...
