Exterior Changes on 2017 SD
Maybe I just don't study the design details as much so unless it "really" is a lot different I might not notice what some of you feel is an improvement. Would like to see your thoughts on what you feel makes the new SD look better than past generations. tks

-Grille bars now extend into headlights cluster
-Bracketed grille is replaced by longer bars
-Grille is wider and does not extend as far down into bumper

-Quad beam halogen replaces dual filament halogen headlights
-New bumper and lower air dam design (air dam is more rigid)
-New rectangular fog lamps replace rounded design
-Flush sealed windshield on new model

Styling changes, side:

-Powerstroke badge is now rectangular like earlier versions instead of roundel like 2011-2016 trucks
-Kenworth "Daylight" window drop is more pronounced on 2017 model

-New, much larger and taller taillamps with large reversing lamps
-LED option tail/brake/turn signal/reverse lamps
-New license plate lamps with LED option
-New in-bumper trailer plug mounts and illuminated by license plate lights
-New tailgate with higher-mounted handle and electric release option
-New, wider, unique font "Super Duty" stamping in lower tailgate
-Larger Ford oval (except Platinum / KR applique with much smaller, offset oval
-New "indented" center tailgate panel and "spoiler" on top of gate to accommodate gen-2 step
-New trailer hitch
So there's my list. I'm sure there's even more. Some are minor, but overall the look is very different yet still Super Duty. I think unfortunately the front looks much more like a GM truck. Currently, I think the RAM trucks have the most handsome front end, while the new Super Duty has the best rear styling. Obviously, the inside was vastly different.
The 2017 is a very nice looking truck and looks like a truck. About the only thing that takes some getting used to is the LED headlamps, the whole 'C" shape but its not revolting. As I have the F350 long bed there's a lot of slope front to rear, never had a leveling kit on any truck but this one would benefit due to the length.
Performance, tech, features, its a home run.
