Tail light issues
My dash/instrument lights were not working. After chasing very possible fuse and wire I replaced the dash switch. It worked!!! For 4 days 
.
This time the tail lights failed with the instrument lights. Again I checked every fuse and replaced the switch. It worked until I used a turn signal. Now the tail lights and instrument lights are not working again and the turn signals work when they want to. I have 2 burnt female pins on the plug that goes into the switch. What is causing the heat? Where do I look to solve this??

Sounds like you need to replace the plug that goes into the switch. They are infamous for causing fires. I think it starts with a worn out (shorted) dimmer switch.

OEM headlights
Multifunction vs Headlight?? They are all on the same switch head/tail, park, instrument dimmer, (map too - I think as they are not working also)
Is the dealer the only place to get the plug or is there a non Chinese aftermarket??

Multifunction switch is on the column. You mentioned turn signals, so it may be in play.
What year truck? Does it have 31xx or 11xx rear bulbs? In either case, the bulbs themselves are the other point where the turn signals and parking lights / taillights come together. If there's a short between the filaments of one of those bulbs, or between the bulb contacts, one circuit could affect the other. This would apply to the front parking / turn lights as well.

Multi function may be in play as my cruise control doesn't work either.
1157 bulbs, but I have LED to replace them with in the rear. I'll check the front.
Bought the Taiwanese part - hope it works.

Cruise control switches are in the wheel, so that would be your roll connector / clockspring. That's a separate connection from the multifunction switch.
