Doing a 55 right now. Would not recommend it. Absolute headache with aftermarket panels.

You have to have patience, maybe that's your problem. It's not like going to Walmart and buying a puzzle and expect all the pieces to fit perfectly. It's no difference buying aftermarket panels for a late model vehicle, they all need some tweaking...

John lots of patience here. I've studied your pics and build in depth. After lots of research over the weekend & confirmed this morning, I was working with pieces of two different puzzles so to say. Hence my problems and frustrations. Hopefully everything goes smoother now.

Honestly John, you are far more skilled than I ever knew. That is simply amazing work.

I got lucky...lol I was a lot braver doing this one, The panel was my first build, this my second but neither one is flawless as they have their share of mistakes and things I wish were done differently. I wish I was a better painter...

Replacing floors / rockers on something thats only 5x4' whatever make? Well ya gonna need tools & lots of them at least to do it correct. This job will require about $3000 just in sheet metal (already have that in stock) shrinkers & spreaders, migs & tigs & plasma cutters english wheels bead rollers etc. but
thats what we do. Not being a wise guy but your job would be a day off. This
job mentioned above is a 1949 that got rear ended early in its life. Old sayin
"its only nuts and bolts" No we can not do heart transplants, just anvil and
hammer stuff. I can not get pics in order but you a'll got the idea.....sam
