Rear bumper sensor connection
I have looked at all the old (2010-2012) threads concerning the backup camera troubles of those F150's but I don't find any that ever gave definitive repair results. I purchased a 2011 F150 recently and shortly after getting it the backup camera stopped working (naturally). I purchased another camera (same part) and installed it and it worked for a shot while and then it quit. When I hooked up a gopro camera to the proper connector pinning it worked fine. After HOURS of messing with it and nothing but frustration I purchased a different camera that is fixed in my license plate frame. I was going to use the same wiring from the OEM camera since it worked with the Gopro, so I cut off the connector to access the wiring. Now the bumper sensors won't work. Apparently they were wired through the connector. QUESTION: Does anyone know what wires run the sensors and how to fix this problem (do I connect some wires together?) All help is greatly appreciated as I can find NOTHING online concerning wiring.
