Heads Up Display
In reading up on the ACC, I came across this in the manual:
If the system predicts that its maximum
braking level is insufficient, an audible
warning sounds while the system
continues to brake. A red warning bar
appears on the windshield heads-up
display. Take immediate action to slow or
stop the vehicle.
So I do a search in the manual and only find two more references to a heads-up display, both listed in the fuse charts:
Passenger fuse panel compartment #15, 10A, Smart datalink connector power. Heads up display.
Passenger fuse panel compartment #21, 5A, Terrain management system. Head-up display. Humidity sensor.
Anybody have any other data on this function/capability or is that it...a flashing red light reflected off the windshield?
