Center console loose
Hey all. I've got a 2008 Ford F250 Superduty Crew Cab. My problem is that the center console of the front bench seat is loose. I keep it folded down nearly all the time and any pressure on the front left corner causes the rear right corner to pivot up. Has anyone ever seen somethin like this, and/or know how to fix this? Thanks everyone.

Have you checked to see if the bolt is loose? There are 4 bolts that hold it in place.
2 at rear of seat, bolting to the floor and 2 under the seat itself I would check and see if they may have wiggled loose.

I have the same problem with my 08 F350. Seat bolts and pivot bolts are tight. How do you remove the storage liner and cup holders. It seems to flex behind the pivot bracket so I want to remove the liner and see it it's support is cracked or broken. The factory manuals only show how to remove the seat back and seat, not how to take it apart.

These things are weak. It broken somewhere. It only takes a little elbow pressure [like leaning on it to adjust your ***] to break them. I have never figured out how to fix these. About 75% of the dutys I come across are broken this way. I warn passengers in my truck not to put pressure on them.
