395RL Dry Pin is 2,830. Payload on a diesel F250 is about 2,200. With family and loaded that has to be 1,000 over payload. That's all that I was observing. If you are OK with that, that's fine. No worries from me. Just thinking about your safety.

 

No clue where that 2200 came from.
I appreciate your concern for my safety, but, Ford specs say I can carry up to 25% of 15,000+

 

Check the yellow sticker on your door jamb. That is the amount of payload your truck can safely carry.
