Adding oil and coolant filtration, any recommendations?

I want to add a secondary oil filtration and also a coolant filter. Im looking at sinister diesel, and a setup on diesel site.

Id like to hear what you guys are running for filtration. Any pros cons of these two models, etc.

Also, do any of you have an external transmission filter installed? I have on on my 7.3, and so far so good.

Thank you.

I just bought a coolant filter from Rudy's. Same as Sinister for almost half the price.

When I bought my truck it had 85 k on it. Has a coolant leak at the pump. Drained the coolant and there was junk in it. Refilled and added a coolant filter and the leak stopped. I don't think pump seals work well with sand in it...reports from other members say that sand is the biggest find in the filter.

and sure, once your sure you have all the casting sand out you probably don't need the filter anymore.

and about the oil by pass filter. Yes have that too. It does 2 micron filtering. I think the main filter is a 20 micron filter. The only cons is that the return goes to the same area that the case vent into the turbo goes so I'm wondering how much filtered oil is being sucked into the turbo. No smoke or anything just curious. I was rengening about every 100 miles before the filter and now regen about every 300 miles after the filter so I am hopeful that means soot is bigger than 2 microns and the filter is cleaning some of it out of my oil.
