Some makers only offered one small suicide door for the rear and then went to two. Did Ford do the same and call it something different than the single suicide door?
Crew cab is a "full size" back seat and normal rear opening doors with a full size bed (short bed ~6.5', long bed ~8').
Super Cab is a smallish back seat and no rear doors in '90s and older trucks, but front-opening "suicide" doors in many (all?) of the newer trucks.
Super Crew is a term only used on lighter duty, newer trucks (half ton only?). It's basically a full size crew cab, but on a shorter wheelbase, so it has a shorter than "short bed" box (around 5.5'?)
We bought a '99 Ranger new and it had the one driver's side rear door that would open. I'm not sure when Ford trucks (full size and Rangers) went from none to one to two doors on the Supercab exactly, but do remember the one door opening in '99 was a big deal.
On the full size trucks the additional doors on the SuperCab came with the new body style F-150/F-250 in '97. On the F-250HD/F-350 they came with the '99 SuperDuty. I don't know about the Ranger.
And I'm pretty sure that the new body style F-150/F-250 SuperCabs had 2 rear doors (4 doors total) from the start. Same with the SuperDuty SuperCabs. I think only the Rangers had 3 doors.
I had a '98 Super Cab and it only had one back door. That started in '97 with the new body style. Best I remember they went to 4 doors in '99.
That '98 was one of the BEST vehicles I ever had and quite often wish I
still had it!

First factory Crew Cab assembled mid-year 1965. All previous versions were aftermarket conversions.
First factory Super Cab: 1974. All previous versions were aftermarket conversions.
The current F150 Super Crew is available with 5.5' & 6.5' beds. The 5.5' version is a whopping 231 1/2" long.
In comparison, the 1985 regular cab with an 8' bed is 208.3"; the Supercab 230.3"; and the crew cab 243.7". I don't believe that included the rear bumper as that was optional back then and it doesn't shown in the drawing. But the current trucks come with a rear bumper, so it is slightly an apples/oranges comparison.

I can imagine that attempting to parallel park one of these elephantine behemoths would be a strain on the brain.
Thankfully I have D/P plates, so I have never needed to, also I don't have to pay at parking meters. First city to have them in the US...OKC!
I have no prob's parallel parking Blue. And I've never tried the auto-park feature.
Do you have a back up camera? My truck doesn't. It doesn't have the auto-park feature either.
The more electronic features new vehicles have, the more electronic nightmares (failures) they will have sooner or later...usually after the warranty has expired.

Can you buy anything that does not have all that crap?
If you can it is only time till gov tells us we have to have it on our cars & trucks.
Look at 5MPH bumpers, they were to save us money but do they?
Because people cant drive we have anti lock brakes, auto braking because they cant look out the front window or a warning because they cant stay in the lane!
Sorry I cant stand all the things they tell me I NEED when buying something new I don't want.
