Fuel Injectors
I have 118,000 miles on a 99 Ford F450 and I have replaced fuel injectors twice and I believe they are about to go again. I took it in to the Dealer just under 100,000 to get them replaced under warranty and I was looking power and it was running rough at idle. Every charactistic of Fuel injectors going. I was told they could not duplicate my problem to they sent me off. Now I am past my warranty and they are going to stop anyday. Anyone have any similar problems. Anyone have any suggestions. I am in the California area.
Also has anyone ever had to replace the front stablizer bar
Not having much luck . But I love my Truck.
Thanks for any advice
It could also be the o-rings in the IPC - Injection Pressure Controller in the high pressure oil pump. Or the IPC itself. That would cause a rough idle, and loss of power as well. And it would do it intermittantly.
The CPS - Cam Position Sensor was also notorious on those years for failing prematurely.
Hate to say it, but have you tried different dealers? Over here the dealers hire a lot of diesel techs that are like dutch light bulbs - not too bright.

Thank you so much. Yes I was not impressed by the lack of knowledge at the dealer I went to. I have moved to central California hopefully they are a bit more experienced with Diesel engines.
Thanks for the information I will have them check it out .
Take Care
