1998 F700 Front Wheel Parking Brake

A local big truck mechanic passed this on to me as a thought.

Im trying to find a way around these Girling Brakes.

Install a purpose built hydraulic solenoid 100% Duty cycle capable as solenoid would have to be on over extended periods, days , weeks , ....

Cage the rear cans after the setup has proven itself.

Then work on removing and plugging off the old system. Now, at this point, I can look at a Standard style Rear, possibly with discs , but standard Drum would be OK.

Fix the Girling brakes.

Home-built parking brake mods...only YOU can stand behind them. And you'll be watching the truck the whoooolllllle time.
