NOS Throttle cable

I have an NOS Throttle or choke cable that I was going to list on ebay. The part number is C0TF-8775-D. The box says it is a Control Assembly. It has a white ****. The cable is inside a rubber casing.

Before I listed it I measured it. To my surprise it measures 13' 4"!! What kind of truck is for? Or is it not a choke or throttle cable? Is it for something else?

Can you help me determine what this is?
Here are some pictures.

The part number is C0TF-9775-D (replaced B7T-9775-A) .. Carburetor Throttle Control Cable / 164" long from shoulder of **** to cable end / Obsolete
1957/58 C550/1100 / 1959 C550/1100 before production date 6/30/59.

C550/1100 = C Series Tilt Cab.

Thanks Bill! Tilt cab, that explains why it is so long.

That could be a tough one to sell, A very limited market

Green Sales has 5 (10 years from now, they'll probably have 4!). Call and ask 'em how much, then undercut their price.

Good idea. Thanks. Could a guy cut this to the length he needs for a conventional cab?

Probably, but 1957/60 F100/250's did not come with a throttle cable. It was an option for like years F350/1100's, so these trucks may have one, may not.

In other words, it's a "cold piece" any way you slice it (pun intended!).

Cut to length (and possibly other modification), I think that cable would work for Throttle, Choke, or either air vent. The round shoulder just fits in whatever dash bezel you choose. Limited market for exact intention, but at a fair price, it can easily replace an old rusty choke cable.
