Look at the original cable, see if there's an ID number marked on it, if so, post what it is. If your truck has factory A/C or Hi/Lo Comfort Vent System, the temp cable is different.

E3TZ-18518-B .. Heater Temperature Control Cable / Marked: E3TH-18D306-AA or AB or AC / 1983 F100/350 & Bronco / 1983/86 F/FT600/900.

Are you sure you need the temp control cable? There's another: E3TZ-18552-A .. Heater Air Control Cable.

Temp control cable

This unit does not have A/C. Wish did the turbo generates a bunch of heat. This cable moves a door in heater box that diverts air thru heater core or as fresh air into cab. The ID number tag on cable is gone and cable hsg is badly deterated. Thanks for help. Need to find someone that has one.

The ID number (not the part number) is printed on the cable itself. See post 2 for the ID numbers of the temp cable.

There are only two cables, if E3TZ-18518-B is wrong (if you're sure that's what it is), it has to be the other cable.

E3TZ-18552-A .. Heater Air Control Cable / Obsolete

TALLAPOOSA FORD in Alexander City AL has ONE = 256-234-3432.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has ONE = 800-476-9653.

NOS ONLY in San Jose CA has TWO = 800-667-6659.
---------------------------------------------------
E3TZ-18518-B =

BLOOMER FORD in Bloomer WI has ONE = 715-568-2182 / No one else has any.

Ask for descriptions, measurements, before you buy either of these puppies.
