A bit off topic and probably a stupid question, but how would you guys protect the LED light cover when loading something sharp or abrasive, such as gravel, into the bed?
Darn, I never thought about that. We plan to use the truck like a truck and haul gravel and stuff for our house construction project. I wonder how "protected" those lights are?
So I guess hauling anything but gravel would not qualify as proper use for a truck...If that is your intended end use, don't get the lights.
Not exactly what I meant, but there are a ton of users on here that admit to never putting anything in the bed of their truck, and just think it's cool to drive a big truck and so forth. What I meant was we plan to use the truck as a truck, and actually haul stuff and hook to trailers, lol...
My new Undercover Ultra Flex tri-fold tonneau cover comes with lights underneath. Just another option for those without lights and that are looking for a tonneau.

Like a real truck. I haul bark dust, gravel, household goods, ATV's etc.

no problem, I should back off the afternoon coffee, Ha! I don't know who I am kidding anyway I'd be the first one to break a light and then bitch about it...
There is a part number for the F-150 which in the picture looks a lot like the Super Duty version. Go to the ford accessories site.
Part #: GL3Z13E754A
Never mind, someone posted the a part number as I was typing, but it doesn't seem to match the Bed Lights

Lol i think the biggest thing ive ever put in my bed is my dirtbike. Anything heavy or oddly shaped, I hook up whichever trailer is best for the job. I would never dog my KR with gravel in the bed. My truck is my DD so i like to keep it nice and let the trailers take the grunt.
