Help!!

Ok I've tried to research this and I need help bad. I currently on a 95 F150 4wd 5.0. It has 3 265/75-15's and one 31 10.50 on front. The reason for that is my other 265 went down and this was the only option I had. Money is tight! I work on a strip mine in eastern Ky. So I have to have a 4wd to get to work. I know that running it in 4wd on hardtop will destroy it. But here's my question. I know that a 31 10.50 is .33 inches larger than my 265's. with that little of a difference can or will it hurt my baby?

Are you saying the difference in diameter is .33 inches? 1/3 of an inch? That is probably less than the difference between different tire brands of the same size.

You have an open differential, so power is only going to one wheel anyway, so it's not going to hurt anything.
Now if you had a locker in the front where power was going to both wheels, then a big diameter difference could matter, but being only 1/3 of an inch not a problem.

Eventually it will cause a wear issue being as the open diff is only meant for intermittent use
