Don't gamble with the OEM reman. It's the only thing most will tell you is not worth it. Injectors? yes, absolutely OEM remans only.
HPOP, not so much.

I would be sure you CONFIRM with the company you will be getting the CORRECT o-rings with it if you go Adrenaline. That or just buy the OEM o-rings, there have been issues lately with the o-rings they are sending with the pumps.

And I'd at least air test the system before condemning the pump. Hook up the air fitting to the ICP Port and listen to the oil filter housing with the cap removed... gurgling or any air noises, it's going south.

That's a bad pump I believe. Pressure is leaking through backwards. That shouldn't happen.

Did you command the IPR closed? Without the IPR in the correct position, it will route the air into the oil reservoir and sound like a bad pump.

If you do the air test through the IPR port, then it won't need to be closed. If you did the test using the ICP port, it will need closed. Apply 12v to the IPR for short periods while applying air to the ICP port.

Good call, I just assumed it was tested through the IPR, and I shouldn't do that.

ICP is new but is the pigtail new?
Was the old ICP oily?

Pretty common on these for the ICP to burp oil all over creation and crawl up the pigtail harness. That will cause problems with an oily plug/harness even with a new ICP sensor

What I'm thinking as well. Also clean the MAP, EBP sensors and tubes, check for cracks in the rubber and clean the nipple. If your EGR is in tact, clean that sensor as well... you should be able to hit 28lbs of boost... it's a combination of those sensors that make the boost numbers.

17psi and no codes?
Check all the rubber CAC boots, specifically where they have the metal wire reinforcement, where the clamp goes and if you have the plastic tube.... discharge side.

You cleaned MAP, EBP, IAT/EGR and the tube/hose that feed them with trimmer line? What is MAP/BARO/EBP before you crank up? They should be near 14.7?

ive done all that, the cac boots are new not even 4 months old, ive pulled the intercooler and checked for leaks, all my sensors read as the should, i cant check ebp so not sure about that one, i know its not my head gaskets and ive done everything you can think of the this thing, my last thought is i have a cylinder with bad compression but it idles great and smooth except the random miss, even at idle when the turbo cycles its very quite, the ficm is 58v sinister diesel which isnt a year old, no exhaust leaks

But 17psi boost is way off and a bad cylinder won't do that.

03 or early 04' truck, not using EBP? Boost is map-barometer. So what reading for those sensors, cold?
