Fuel Filter Change
trackman, Allways use a high quality fuel filter in these PSD's they are vrey sensative to fuel system contamination. One of the things to look for in a good furl filter are the small o-ring has a beveled edge, it is not a true o-ring. Regular o-rings will not seal properly and leak internally. Some of the better brands for the 7.3 PSD are; Motorcraft FD4595 (1994-1998) or FD4596 (1998.5 +), Donaldson, Baldwin PF7678, Racor IN F4595 or IN F4596. Myself and others have had bad experience with Fram and Wix.

If your filter still leaks; Be sure that you include the (2) "O" rings that come with the filter and that the outer ring is installed corectly. It is tapered.
