My 2014 F350 just through theP04DB code today. Dealer confirmed it was the CCV filter unit and that they'd replace it under warranty. We're heading out on a 5000 mile trip tomorrow and he said it would not cause any issues. After reading these posts, I tend to agree with them that this should be ok until it gets replaced. FYI - light went out after pulling into the driveway and stopping and restarting the truck.
Mine cleared itself once I got home and turned off and on the truck. However, I found my OBD2 bluetooth connector and was able to get it hooked up with OBDLink. Drove 460 miles today and no light - all is good (for now).
My 2015 visited the dealer a second time yesterday for this same issue. All fixed again, for free. The replacement sensor lasted almost a year. That's not great.
I’m getting the same codes on a f250 2014 with just over 50K miles, did not purchase extended warranty. However, according to Customer Satisfaction Program 17M04 – Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator Assembly – 2014-2016 Ford F-Super Duty. This program extends the warranty coverage of the
assembly to 11 years of service or 120,000 miles from the warranty start date of the vehicle, whichever occurs first.
I took my truck to the dealer today, the guy behind the counter was clueless about the warranty extension but hopefully the computers will show him this should be covered.
My '14 F350 is going into the shop today for the sensor replacement. Just shy of 40,000 miles on the truck. Hope Ford can get it figured out and get a decent fix designed.

Just got my truck back and there were no issues with getting this covered under recall/warranty.
Just got mine replaced yesterday. I was having serious shifting problems going uphill under load. The transmission would jerk so bad going from 6th gear to 5th and the last incident all the way to 3rd gear. It would jerk so bad that I thought the airbags would inflate. Anyway I got tired of dealing with it so I took it to the dealer and had them do a transmission service ($310.00) and they checked for metal in the pan and replaced the screen and put in new fluid. They did not find any shavings in the pan and the transmission wasn't throwing a code. They did find the 17M04 error with the P04DB code and replaced the crankcase collar and reprogrammed the PCM. I am hoping that this will solve my issues with the transmission shifting under load.
