While driving the truck, holding the pedal at about half throttle, you can feel it drop out, like the fuel supply got cut off to the injectors, and then come right back on. It started out very minimal, and has now gotten worse. it is intermitted, and it varies on how long it cuts out, but usually half a second. it doesn't occur at low idle, or even at high idle while driving. usually only happens at half throttle, and in the lower gears, but sometimes higher gears if you are holding the pedal halfway. you can step on the pedal once it happens, and it will correct it.
I have replaced the whole pedal assembly, the CPS, and fuel filter. I have even taken it to Ford, and they agree with me that it is an electrical issue. They claim to have checked everything that is Ford related, and don't see any codes, nor is there an issue with functionality of the truck. Had an older programmer on it, with an error, but when I called the manufacturer, they claim that the programmer is just no good.
Also, had the IDM replaced due to a tire blow out, but this issue was there before that, and I am not sure if the programmer was affected due to this. Was working before when I plugged into it, but don't notice any differences. Looking for a solution, and hitting dead ends.
