can't find coolant zerex hd elc. what else can I use

I have to order the coolant zerex hd elc I want but I have the opportunity to get someone else to purchase my coolant today in store. What coolant can I get? O'Reilly has fleet charge I believe that has sca. Or just any heavy duty coolant with sca will be fine? I'm not wanting to add sca to coolant. Just drain and fill and go

Fleet Charge is fine. That's what I'm running.

I did read on other posts a elc could damage seals and possibly oil cooler. So I guess I'll just go precharged and check wit strips after awhile. I don't want to damage anything but the fact of not testing or anything with a elc would be nice

ELCs /can/ damage things, and you'll never find Ford recommending them for anything this old.

That being said, Zerex has not caused me any issues in either my old or rebuilt engines, so...
Pretty sure that there's multiple ELC technologies that have been used over the years. Some are a lot more damaging than others.
The HOAT technology in Zerex seems to be relatively benign, but you can always research it yourself.

I was going to purchase zerex elc coolant but now I'm second guessing plus I have to order it. As a precharged coolant is ready and available at oreilly or advanced auto. But I'd like the luxury of the elc. Just nervous about it now

Update. I bought fleet charge sca precharged coolant at advanced on sale for 12.99 a gallon. Only question is. It doesn't say if it's 50/50 or straight coolant. I'm assuming I need to mix with distilled water but it doesn't say on the bottle if it's 50 50 already or not.

If it was 50/50 it would be on the front, easy to see.
Otherwise full strength. I agree that it's dumb for them not to just label it either way.

Mix 1:1 with distilled unless you have a reason to use more antifreeze. Directions on the back of the jug.

One easy way to tell: Get yourself an antifreeze tester. That way you can see where you are at(either from the jug or in the engine), and go from there.

I always try to go a bit heavy on the antifreeze when draining and refilling(like 4 gallons of AF and 3 of water), because I know there's some water left in the block. With a tester, you can then check your mixture and see where you are at, figure out if you need to add more water or contentrate.

Our local O`Rilllys only sells 50/50 AF no matter what the brand. More profit in 50/50 I guess, plus the convenience for the average knuckle head.
No thinking involved on mixing.

I had to go to NAPA to get the Fleet Charge.
