Carb mounting bolt size

Hey guys. I'm new here. I have a 460 that I'm putting in my 81 bullnose. I'm installing the carb. But the only problem is I don't have the mounting bolts for it. Can anybody help. It's has stock intake for now.

It should have 1/2 studs. And they usually have a spacer, either plain or the EGR spacer. What have you got? They usually don't bolt on correctly without some sort of spacer.

Would that be 1/2" studs above the plate you say it should have?

I think he wants the thread size? As a guess 5/16 -18 if you get threaded rod, washers and nuts you can make your own.

Sorry, the carbs do usually use 5/16 studs. The wrench size is usually 1/2". I have seen both 5/16-18 and the finer thread 5/16-24.

Thanks for the replies. It does have a egr spacer that goes in between the two. So 5/16 would be the correct size.

I used threaded rod due to using a Phenolic Thermal Manifold Spacer between the manifold and carb when I omitted the EGR spacer plate (and wanting new clean, sharp threads). Tractor Supply had plenty.
