1969 F500

Well, I sorta started a new project without know where I'm going. Bought a nice F500 in really good shape. Short wheelbase, no bed. I've got an old C10, and in the middle of a 67 F100 project, so familiar with pickups. What are people doing with beauties like this one?

CREW CAB!!!

Seriously that would be amazing. Otherwise would it haul one of your other projects if you put a beaver tail on it?

Seems like a flat bed would be the lowest dollar alternative - with goose neck hitch, etc. I think I could put a Ford box on the back and fab dually wheel wheels. Not sure where the market is for these vehicles, if anywhere. Not sure if I am keeping, selling, whatever.

As short as it is, I would fab up a pickup bed and make it look like a big pickup.

I would do the pick up bed.
I think a step side bed would look cool, but with duallies you'ld have to tub the inside of the bed too.

I vote for the pickup bed too! But I would change the duallies over to a wider single wheel. (A smaller version of what the big trucks have gone to.)

Put it on a F100-F150 frame and slam it with a long bed for the win

That would be called a Super Single.

These are only about $600 to $900 dollars per tire. ....pocket change.

That would be a lifetime wear tire, but maybe better go with a little smaller tire, for the discount.
