I'm pretty darn sure you need to fab it in. I tried it on my '16 but it had to much drone for my liking. The trucks that deleted the resonators instead of the muffler reported far less drone and sounded good.
The second one can be replaced with a piece of 3" pipe flared on one end and cut to length.. The regular cabs do not have this one and are noticeable louder.
i took a sawzall and hacked off everything past the resonator...drone is crazy but im a kid so i love it
Why would you do that? You could have loosened 1 nut and slid it back, unhooked the exhaust hangers and pull the muffler and tailpipe out. That way you can put it back on if you want/need to.mines back on.
