Frame component

Can anyone tell me what the component may be on the crossmember just ahead of the rear fuel tank? It is several inches square and on the end of a multiwire cable. It has what appears to be a Ford p/n: FUSA-9D370-JA.
I am asking because I cannot remount it where it was prior to installation of air ride. It was mounted in a specific orientation, giving thought it may be related to chassis stability sensing. This is on a 2017 chassis cab F450. Feedback appreciated. Thanks.

A quick look at Google appears that it is a fuel module - but for F-150's up to 2008...?

Unless they repurposed it, I suspect that's not the right part.

It does appear to be a fuel module based on tracing wiring to the rear tank.
Sure would like to know its function.

Here's a picture of the part that Seabee referenced as it would look installed on the truck (F150 I suppose). Does it look like this or similar? It may have a similar function.

No, it is thicker, maybe twice as thick. I remounted it today, I just wanted to be sure it didn't have anything to do with vehicle stability, as it was not practical to mount it exactly as original. Many guys do it I suppose, that is take a brand new truck with a couple of miles and modify it, air suspension in my case. My neighbors are shaking their heads.
