Does anyone have the width between the two frame rails on a SRW F250 cab/chassis from the 99-04 vintage?
Is it different from the pick ups?
Also, a picture of the (if any) cross member in front of the fuel tank would be much appreciated.
Trying to get plans on paper (digitally) for my fuel tank project.

F250 has a 37" frame. F550 has a 34" frame. Can't help with the cross member pick as my 99 F550 has a 50 gal tank on the Drivers side and a spare mounted where rear tank was located.
I think you are going to find that all cab chassis frames are 34" in all the big 3. It's so that the body builders only have to design for one size. You will also find that in a Ford it's 56" cab to axle in a standard box and 60" or longer with a cab chassis.
