Replacement Remote Start Key

I need a new remote start key. I got one online but it won't register to PATS. Does anyone know where I can get a quality key that will work without having to go to Ford?

Make sure you get a key that has SA stamped on it instead of just S. I purchased the generic keys from ebay for 50.00 or so for a 2 pack. They work fine but ultimately nothing aftermarket will be as sturdy and well built as the OEM keys. I purchased the remote start kit with 2 uncut keys for under 190.00 and tossed the other parts. It was cheaper than 125.00 a key at the dealer.

Like stated above, make sure you get keys stamped with a SA. I'm not a big fan of the all-in-one keys. I bought a pair of these off eBay and got them cut locally and programmed myself. OEM Ford, 2 for $25 shipped to my door, couple bucks each to get cut.

Even though a remote isn't really needed to operate the vehicle, I did also ordeed a couple of these. Not OEM but have a quality feel. Two for less than $8. Almost cheaper than beer.

All in all, less than $40 for a set of two programmed and cut keys and remotes.

edit: sorry, just noticed that you are looking for remote start remotes. the ones I got don't offer that but they do exist on ebay.
