1974C800 need tuneup parts source
just bought a Firetruck...has 20k miles so in really good shape.....need source for plugs,wires,rotor cap etc.....its a 391 gas motor but can't anything listed for it..

Cap, rotor, wires, points etc is the same as for all Ford V8s of that era. (FE or FT and others)
Plugs would be specific to that motor, so just pull one and if it looks ok other than normal wear, just go back with the same plug.
BF32 or BF42 maybe.

Whiz down to the auto parts store, ask for tune up parts, wire set for a 1967/68 Mustang/Cougar 390 or 1968/73 F100/350 360/390.

What no Napa down there? Along with tune up- I say- distributor with governer high
mount fan water pump (hard parts) and my Napa had all of it.....

Put an aftermarket electronic points kit in it. You'll never regret it !

C models don't use the high mount fan water pump, that water pump was used on L models.
