Assuming the holes where done on a mill and are concentric they will work fine. Plenty of aftermarket rims are available with dual bolt patterns. The center cap covers the extra holes so no big deal.

Certainly your choice to not run em but from a structural perspective the additional lug holes are not going to affect their function or strength.

If the buyer was planning on using the added lug centric pattern it would be wise to check the runout to see how centered they were drilled, but if using on a Ex you would be using the stock holes and hub centric design to center them.

Latest ideas for new Mods:
# Upgrade to the 16 lug wheels.
# Drilled and Slotted wheels to keep brake dust at bay.
That does look a bit scary especially if you load your Excursion heavy along with a trailer..
