can't figure out the search function

i type keywords in the "search forums" box with magnifying glass and get nothing but random threads that don't pertain to keywords. (defrost only, no heat).

seems like i've seen it discussed on here before as a vacuum leak that sends all my AC out of defrost vents.

i've tried unsuccessfully to search things here before--any pointers? thanks

I don't use the sites search its easy to go to Google and put in

defrost only no heat ford-trucks.com

Then you can go from there to get all of the results from the forum which would be something like

defrost only no heat site:www.ford-trucks.com

But, defrost only generally means you have a vacuum leak.

This shows the importance of creating quality thread titles. Titles like "Need help", "new problem", "I give up" make searching by others in the future nearly useless. Put what is broken in the title.
