Rhoads lifters
Anyone use Rhoads lifters in a speed density system? Wondering if using those with a little hotter cam won't negatively affect the SD efi as much. They say they don't open up all the way til 3500ish, which if I'm at 3500 I probably have it to the floor anyway and with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator it should keep it from leaning out. Mostly I'm just thinking out loud. Am I hairbrained? I'm mostly an old school carb performance guy who wants a better running tow rig but don't want to give up the drivability and small mpg advantage of the efi. I was looking at these two cams. Anyone use either of these?

I've never used them in any of my rigs, but I've had two buddies use them. Yeah they're noisy for sure. In my mind they would make it possible to run a bigger cam and not throw the efi off too much. Thinking I might give em a shot.
