Carpet Delete

I would like to hear from those that got the carpet delete option on how they like it. I ordered my truck with this option.

I had the vinyl floors in my 2015 XL and loved them. I don't ever want to go back to carpet in a truck.

One Issue I had with the vinyl was even after scrubbing the area where my feet were the most they always looked dirty. I am considering still getting a set of the rubber floor mats.

I got the carpet delete and love it. Carpet in a truck sucks. I did put husky floor mats in to facilitate easier cleaning. It looks great without the carpet.

That's good to hear. I don't think I want to go as far as Husky Liners or Weather tech but the rubber mats look nice and I am not worried if someone "spills" over.

I did carpet delete and got the Ford Tray style Mats for the same reason to make cleaning even easier. Wouldn't change a thing, have always hated carpet in a truck/4wd and as far as that goes in any vehicle that gets used in inclement weather

Those are nice... I got the step up from that. The ones I got are have a little bit more raised edges to keep water and muck in. They were around $125.

Yeah I saw those but I'm not worried if some mess makes it past them.

I always order carpet delete. New truck came in 12/28, bought set of plain black rubber mats from walmart for 25.00. Put them over vinyl floor to protect it from boot heels, high heels, etc. When they get worn, buy another set. Easy to clean, protects vinyl floor. Salesman didn"t even know you could delete carpet with lariat trim. Can't imagine anybody wanting carpet in a truck.

I got the carpet delete as well, I didn't order my truck just fluked out that the one I ended up with had it checked when ordered. I prefer it this way, this truck is a work rig for me and I get it DIRTY. My first diesel was an 08 XL and I loved the vinyl floors in that over my '16, much easier to keep clean.

My truck came with rubber mats over top of the vinyl floors, as well as carpeted mats that were still bagged and thrown in storage for summer when I am not working/getting it dirty, which is likely never so now the truck will have a new set of mats whenever it is sold.

i love m lariat w/ carpet delete, what impressed me the most on this is the fit and finish of the flooring, as well as the factory mats that fit together so nciely with the vinyl. I had vinyl in my last ford 250's, 06 and 02's and the mats slid all over the place

i just keep one of these in the door and she stays clean, use tough stuff and a small towel with a brush a couple times a year to keep it clean
