Can the dealership do the premium Vinyl floors? I have a 2019 with carpet and would like to have the carpet delete done.
You would have to talk to your dealership. It's not a normal process.
I have been told dealerships refuse to order a $70k truck for their inventory without carpet. I don't think they understand how many SD are used for work and play and are not just mall crawlers.
We have a Siberian Husky, and her gray/white fur sticks to the black carpet like Velcro. In retrospect, I should Have ordered the carpet delete option.

This is of course the same people that dont know what options their product even comes with or how they are configured. During the 2-3 months I was actively shopping for my truck, I found exactly ONE sales person who knew his ****, and that was at a Dodge dealership. If I had found a truck that was very similar to what I ordered that had the carped delete, I might have taken it. Never found one anywhere.

I can guarantee they can do it, but the real question is what would they charge for it. Have you looked into doing it yourself? I cant imagine the cost of the flooring itself is that expensive, its more of a time / labor item to remove the seats and center console and put it all back together.
I was the most skeptical there is about the carpet delete. All my previous trucks have had carpet.
My 2017 Platinum was in dealer stock when I went looking January of 2018. It was brand new, and the carpet delete almost made me pass on it. I'm glad I didn't. It came with both carpeted and rubber floor mats, and I have Husky Liners as well. I hunt waterfowl, and being able to clean the floor easily is a huge plus. Also, the sound dampening is the same or better than carpet. I'm glad I bought it, and would do it again.
I wanted carpet delete and 6.2/4.30s with Lariat value. They tried to talk me out of both. Then they wanted a $1.000.00 DP because they said if I bailed they would never sell it... YET... they had a bunch of trucks sitting on the lot...and I didnt want them because they loaded them with chrome. And cheap plastic insert Bed liners. And didnt have 4.30s and carpet delete....
They were actually baffled why I would want those options...
They are just car salesmen selling trucks that day. They really have no clue how trucks are used.
You really need to order if you want specific options.
What would be great is if Ford allowed isolating certain options from packages rather than pushing you upmarket.
Oddly when I shopped my specs to different dealers... Koons ordered my exact build except they put the chrome running boards on and I ordered with no boards.
It sold pretty quick.
I got a quote from my dealer just last week to install a vinyl kit in my 2020 F250. $700 for the kit and $1,300 to install it. Bummer is that it's a $50 credit to order the truck that way. I'm considering buying the kit and installing it myself. Would love to hear from anyone who has done this before.

same here, curious. I'm at 80k on my 19 and driver side carpet is getting gritty.

I talked to the dealership and it’s about $700 to go from carpet to vinyl after market but it will be the Ford OEM flooring

When I picked up my 2020 before Christmas the dealer said they had never had anyone order the vinyl floor specifically. I love it and I think more people would too once they saw it in person.
