Hey everyone!! So recently on my 84 Ford F-150 I started noticing a clank underneath the truck while driving in 2-4 gear. It's most noticeable in 4th gear everytime I step on the gas and its irritating or when releasing the clutch while switching gears. Anyone have any idea of what it might be? The clank doesn't sound like if it's coming from under the hood, but underneath my cab / towards the bed of the truck.
Ooh, that sounds more likely. Been a while since I've had a bad U-joint, but I remember it made a metallic clang (almost like a hammer) when first starting off.

Hey guys! I'm back. Yeah I'll check it out on Monday. I've been away for family reasons. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about and hopefully it doesn't cost that much to fix. Maybe I'll try to record the noises and post a link on here
