I ordered a 3 inch leveling kit for my f250, after reading, I see people installing spacers for the track bar....Would you guys recommend that? Or should I just cancel that order and go with a 2 inch.....?
I just got blocks for the leafs for the front so my 35s don't look so stuffed in the wheel well.....but I don't want to speed up any front end problems since my front end is nice and tight....and I really don't want to spend $100 for a drop bracket since its only 3 inches.....
If you guys think I would be better off with a 2 inch please let me know
Buy the 2", that also allows stock shocks to be used and as long as you stay with a stock width tire, they won't rub... go wider, say to a 12.5 and guess what. Not only will they rub the springs, they will rub the air dam and front fender.
I just put 35x12.50R17 with an 18 offset, they only rubbed on the mud flaps. Took them off and they don't rub at all and that's just on a stock height 250, id just like to raise the front end to match the back and make it look a little better. I will contact the company and see if they can send the 2 inch kit instead.
I run 35x12.5x20 Toyo open country MT, they rub the springs on hard turns, the air dam and fender. I trimmed the air dam and even moved the bumper forward 1/2".
I also have the Harleys trim package, it may be different than an XLT.
The offset wheel may be the difference also, don't care for them to stick out and throw mud up the side. VA cops will ticket you for to wide of a stance.

In VA the cops will ticket you for driving. Don't miss that state at all.
I noticed you're considering putting lift blocks on the front axle. I don't know of any state that this is legal. And in all states is unsafe. With the braking force and added weight applied on the front axle it will fatigue the ubolts and springs. Here's a little article link below for you to read.
If you want to level a truck lower the back or get lift springs for the front.
For a leaf spring truck, they make a 2" taller shackle for the front.
And that is fine but would only yield a 1" difference. That in combination with a helper spring or just a new spring pack would get close to where he wants to be.
