ACC Relay on 2001 excursion

This has been an ongoing annoyance. While it takes 30-60 seconds for the interior power to come on(power windows, wipers, etc) once it's on, it doesn't seem to stay on. While driving along i can hear a relay under the column clicking on/off. I can see my backlight power window buttons flickering on/off, i can only put my windows up/down when it's on.

This has been going on since I dropped my steering column to replace the shifter. I have no idea what i bumped/broke, but it was a rats nest down there. There was a shock sensor that I thought might have done it, but that doesn't seem to have any effect.

If anyone has a place to start looking, It's tolerable most days, but becomes an actual safety issue when it rains and my wipers stop working.

All of the functions you highlighted (wipers, windows, switch back lighting) require that the Accessory Delay relay in the CJB be operational. Might as well start there and work your way back to the Battery Saver relay if needed.

Apply Rain-X or similar to your windshield, it really helps most of the time. Better than an untreated windshield when the wipers aren't working.

Which one is the accessory delay relay? I may just replace it and see if it fixes it. I'm almost certain it's a lose wire somewhere though.

Here's a picture of the interior fuse box.

I know this is an old post but I see your still active in forums. Did you ever figure this out? You are the only person I've seen mention the backlights on switches flickering on and off. I dont have the wiper delay but my domelights are staying on and im blowing fuse #7 for the lock switch illumination in my 01 excursion. All the door switches test fine
